Christopher Ryan Larson has extensive experience as a Dynamic Music performer and Music Educator. As a teacher, he has helped individual students and music programs achieve high honors and State Championship titles throughout the Midwest and Texas. He has regularly performed with many orchestras throughout the Midwest including the Des Moines Symphony, Omaha Symphony, South Dakota Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Kansas City Ballet, and the Des Moines Metro Opera. He has held summer festival fellowships at Music Academy of the West, National Repertory Orchestra, and the Hot Springs Music Festival and holds music degrees from Southern Methodist University and the University of North Texas, and post-graduate studies from the UMKC Conservatory. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, traveling, and practicing his first instrument, the piano.
