Ron resides in Sioux City and has been a member of the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra since 1984. He currently teaches percussion at Morningside University. His degree in music is from Wayne State College in Nebraska. He has also been a member of the Sioux City Municipal band since 1982 and a member of the Le Mars Municipal band since 2005.
