Sara started her professional music career as a teenager, winning a section violin spot in the Lincoln Symphony. Since then, she has earned first violin positions in the South Dakota Symphony/Touring Chamber Orchestra and the Sioux City Symphony. She was selected to play the solo violin role in the touring Broadway musical Chicago for three performances in Sioux City. She has performed for Governor Kim Reynolds in the Military Tribute Concert at the Iowa State Fair. Her New York City agent has landed her several gigs in a multi-state area. Her varied career includes playing for operas, mass choirs, and famous artists including Vince Gill, Lee Greenwood, Kenny G, Quincy Jones, Mannheim Steamroller, and others. She is a dentist and a church organist. Her husband (Karl) and their teens (Vincent and Vanessa) are also musical; and frequently perform together.
