Shari Boone has been a member of the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra viola section since 2009 and is also currently the principal violist of the Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra. For many years Shari owned and operated a violin shop and maintained a private teaching studio. In 2019 she sold her business, later retired from teaching, and now she devotes her time to freelancing in the region. Shari lives in Sioux Center, Iowa, and, together with her husband, has four grown children and three grandchildren.
